the location was right on the beach and we loved hearin the waves while sleepin. breakfast was brill with lotsa options—like scrambled eggs n greek yoghurt. Fresh fruit and delish honey. the owner, christos, was so friendly and gave us fresh apples every day! we also loved how we could walk to the nearby town with shops and cafes super easy. the room was cleaned every other day, which was nice.
the bathroom sink was kinda small, which made things a bit messy during showers. also, the hot water was iffy at times, had to wait for it to come on.

Awesome beach vibes!
Had a lovely time chilling at the beach and the balcony view was insane! The restaurant’s Greek dishes were simply delish, and I loved how they use fresh veggies from their own garden. Just a heads up, the air con was kinda tricky, but they sorted it out quickly. Perfect for a chill vacay!

aptera beach is a lovely spot with direct beach access, making it perfect for some relaxation. the private beach is great, and the terrace is ideal for enjoying breakfast while admiring the sea view. i appreciated the helpful shuttle service to the airport. being close to public transport makes it easy to explore nearby heraklion.
